Hourglass is the third book in the Evernight series, and so far, this is the best one.

Bianca got considerably less whiny in this one, which is great. Bianca was the main reason why i didn't overly enjoy the first two books.

Hourglass was full of twists, which i loved. I really didn't expect some of them.

A couple of things did annoy me though.

Blood - Bianca managed to go days without it, Only snacking on a Robin after four days. After drinking a few bags a day while she was at Evernight academy, it didn't seem possible that such little blood would give her enough energy.

A few days later, she bit Lucas again, knowing full well what the risks were. They could have easily bought a needle and blood bag, and got Lucas's blood that way. That way, Bianca would have blood, and they wouldn't be risking Lucas's humanity.

Bianca in the enemies grasp - I really thought it was stupid how Bianca, A vampire in progress, was living with Black cross. How do you expect to get away with that? Living with the people that are hell bent on killing every one of you?

All in all, i would say this was a lot better than the other two combined. It had loads of twists, and had a less whiny Bianca.
