The main character annoyed me way too much.

She wakes up in hospital, to the news her parents have died. She has a little moment where she's upset, but that doesn't last long, when she's told where she's going to live.
She completely forgets about her dead parents, and gets upset because she has to move to Alaska.
Yep, moving to Alaska is more upsetting than losing her parents.
Of course, a reason for that is because of her friends, but it's mainly because she thinks there's no hot guys there.

When she's waiting for her guide to take her to her aunts, she has another little moment thinking about her parents. Again, that doesn't last very long, when she sees how hot the guide is, and becomes obsessed with him.

On her 17th birthday, her friend bought her a kindle fire, and downloaded all of his favorite books onto it for her. She hated it, and was really ungrateful.
She done it in quite an immature way as well.
"Something i've always wanted.... not!"
If you don't like reading, fine. Please just appreciate how much thought your friend put into it.
