The Lost Girls (The Lost Girls #1)The Lost Girls by Mari Bianca
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from the author, In exchange for an honest review.)

Abigail was an okay character, and I felt quite sorry for her at points.

This was an interesting read, but I did find some parts of the book drag a bit. There wasn't really anything wrong with the story though, it was mainly due to how long the book was.

Overall, An okay read.

Kemla was an okay character, but I didn't love her.

This started out pretty good, but I started to feel slightly bored in the middle, and the story couldn't get my interest back fully.
It felt like a really quick read though, so it wasn't that bad thankfully.

Overall, An okay read.

Allira was an okay character. I felt quite sorry for her a few times.

The pacing was a bit slow at first, but after a while it picked up, and it was fine.
Despite the slow start, the story kept my interest fine, and overall, it was an okay read.

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from Netgalley, In exchange for an honest review.)

Actual rating - 2.75

This started out okay, but unfortunately, it didn't stay that way long.

The pacing was just way too slow for me, and the book felt like it was twice as long than what it was because of how badly it was dragging.
I didn't find the mystery of who the person was suspenseful at all, and after about 40%, it completely lost my interest too.

Overall, Okay start, but went downhill.

Veya was an okay character, and I felt quite sorry for her a few times.

This was slightly confusing at first, but after a few chapters it was fine. I did find the pacing to be pretty slow in areas, but it wasn't awful, and the story still kept my interest, so it wasn't a major issue.

Overall, An okay read.

Kelsey was a likable character, and her and Ethan were cute together.

At first, I thought this one was slightly less enjoyable than book one, but it picked up in the second half and I ended up enjoying them about the same.

It was nice to see Eve and Josh and again, and I liked how this ended with them all being adults.

Overall, An okay read.

Honoria wasn't a bad character, but I didn't love her.

This was an okay read, but I did get quite confused in areas. The switching between years made the book feel quite jumpy at times too, and it took me a while to get used to it.

Overall, Confusing, but an okay read.

The Secrets We KeepThe Secrets We Keep by Trisha Leaver
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This was an okay read, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. The story was quite dull in places, and it just wasn't as interesting as I had hoped it would be.

The ending was a bit of a let down as well, unfortunately.

Overall, Not a bad read, but disappointing.

Ally and Jack were both likable characters, and they made a pretty good couple. There was a few times where Ally annoyed me slightly though.

The pacing at the start of this was quite slow, so it took a while to get into the story. The pace did pick up slighty after a while, but there was still a few parts which dragged a little bit for me.

Overall, An okay read.

Elena was an okay character, and so was most of the other characters in the book. I did find them all to be slightly annoying at times though, so I didn't them.

This was an okay read, but the pacing was a bit slow for me, so there was one or two times where it felt like the book was dragging.

Overall, An okay read.

Macy and Sebastian were both okay characters, and I felt sorry for them at points, but I didn't love them.

There wasn't anything awfully wrong with this book, it just felt way too slow for me, which made the story drag. It felt longer than what is was because of it, and when I got to the end I was quite relieved.

Overall, Not awful, but not very enjoyable for me.

Jade was an okay character, but I didn't love her. I didn't love the romance either.

I didn't enjoy this very much unfortunately. I got bored really early on, and it made the story drag.

Overall, Not awful, but I'm glad it was only short.
