The Last Echo was another okay sequel, but my attention wavered at some points.
At the beginning of the book, i really thought Violet might have wised up a bit, because she knew people who were "gifted" like her.
That didn't happen though, and Violet was her usual self. She still rushed into things that shouldn't have been rushed.
In Desires of the Dead i missed the creepy chapters, so i was glad to see them back in this one.
There was one thing in those chapters that i could see coming though - But maybe that's just because i've watched too much CSI!
Overall, Better than Desires of the Dead, But not as good as the first.
