The Headhunters Race was an enjoyable read.

I really liked Avene. Her trust issues could be slightly annoying at times, but it was understandable that she would have them.

I also really liked McCoy, Zita, Jake and Jim.

I liked the romance in this.
There was a hint of romance throughout the book, but it never became the main focus in it.

Overall, a good read, with likable characters.
