Dystopia is one my favorite genres, and with all the hype Red Rising was getting, i was hoping i'd like it.

Unfortunately, the hype surrounding a book has tricked me yet again.

The first 20% was good, but that was mainly to do with Darrow and Eo.
I really liked them. They were both really brave, and their love for each other was really nice to see. They were perfect together.

From about 30% though, it lost me.
There was some good things happening, but i just didn't find myself enjoying it.
I was bored and confused through the rest of it.

Overall, boring and confusing. Red Rising wasn't the dystopian for me.
