When Alex gets framed for murder, he ends up in the furnace.
The furnace is a hellhole prison for youths, and if you end up there, you're there to the day you die.
This was an action packed book, and was full of creepy stuff.
The masked guards and fleshless dogs were really really creepy. They were written with so much detail that my heart did little flips whenever they made an appearance.
I really loved the characters. They were in such a horrible place, but they still kept on coming out with the one liners, even if it did get them in trouble at times.
It ended on such a cliffhanger.. i can't wait to read book two.
