Witch Finder by Ruth Warburton
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
(I received a copy from Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review)
I enjoyed the authors other witch series, so i was hoping to like this one too.
That didn't happen though, and i was bored through the majority of the story.
Luke's reason for joining the witch hunting group was explained early on, and it is understandable why he wanted to join.
Although, i did find it ridiculous how he joined the group, without having any training first.
Rosa was an okay character, but she could be quite stupid at times, especially when it came to her family selling her off for marriage.
After Alexis's comment about girls her age being "wedded and bedded" already, i would have thought she would have been less shocked about the news.
Witch Finder made me feel sick at some points, because of all the animal cruelty, and their deaths.
I've read far too many books lately, where animal cruelty has been featured a lot, and those parts stick with me more than what anything else in the book does.
Overall, Dull, and a disappointment.
