Outside By Shalini Boland

Outside - a post-apocalyptic novel (Outside #1)Outside - a post-apocalyptic novel by Shalini Boland
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from the author, in exchange for an honest review)

Riley lives inside the perimeter, she's one of the lucky ones. With wastelands full of people doing anything they can do to survive, Outside is a dangerous place to be. Though, after suffering from the loss of her sister, This young girl puts her life in danger to bring her sister some justice.

"Thinking of Skye gives me a shot of courage. No matter how scared i feel about everything, I know i have to do this for her. She was my little sister and she deserves justice."

These three sentences really shown me how strong Riley was. She's scared out of her mind, but none of this matters if it means she can come face to face with her killer, and get her the justice she deserves.

About halfway through the book, Riley and Lucs experience shows how, in a world so totally changed, trusting people can be the most dangerous thing you can do.

I loved how there was two point of views. Riley shown what was happening now, and Ellie shown how it all begin. It really surprised me how deeply both stories were connected to each other.

The fact that, the breakdown of society was something that could really happen to us, made it seem more frightening.

I'll have to get my hands on the next books soon!
