Shaken by Susan Hatler
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Kylie Bates can suddenly read peoples minds, Just by touching someones palm. When a little girl goes missing, Kylie knows she must help her, no matter how scared she is. What she doesn't know, is that by helping the girl, she's putting herself in danger.
I really did feel sorry for Kylie. Not only does she have these abilities suddenly turn up, she finds out that her dad is lying to her too. She also had an awful best friend, Julie.
I really hated Julie. She was so rude. She wouldn't let Kylie talk, always talking over her when she did. She went behind her back, and was rude to her mum, Because apparently $300 a month on clothes isn't enough.
In Shaken, you didn't go long without action. The second half was full of it.
The ending was really great. Full of suspense and twists.
