Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
This one was really slow.
I did feel sorry for Hannah at times, but i didn't find the book very emotional.
I did like how it was more about teaching people that they need to think before they speak/act, than a revenge sort of thing.
There was a few problems i had with the book. The biggest one was about who was on the tape.
I feel like one of them really didn't need to be on there. There's a lot of fake people around, so i didn't get why this person was the only one on there for that reason. If you talked about every fake person you encountered, there would be at least 5 tapes before you even started on the others.
Overall, this did have an important message with "Think before you speak and act" but unfortunately, it was a boring read. It would have been better if we got more insight on why some of the people did what they did.
