First Visions By Heather Topham Wood

First Visions (Second Sight, #1)First Visions by Heather Topham Wood
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Two years ago, a boy went missing. At the same time, Kate was in a coma. She woke with the knowledge of where the boy was.

Weird, Freak , Mad. Kate got called it all. Due to that, she pretended that it was just a fluke. She didn't have physic ability.

Then a cop turns up, trying to find his girlfriends sister. At first, Kate is adamant she's not getting involved. That is, until she actually gets a vision.

I did like the mystery in this, but throughout the book, it is concentrated more on the jealous girlfriend than it did on the missing sister.

Nikki drove me mad. If your sister went missing, would you be more worried about her, or who your boyfriends getting help off? The majority of people would chose the first option, but Nikki chose the latter.

By the second half of the book, Kate was getting close to him, but Nikki's paranoia and possessiveness started way before that.

What she did to Kate was really really stupid. She didn't even think of the implications it would cause.

When the mystery surrounding the abduction actually did come into it, it was interesting. It did get good at the ending. Mainly because it was more about the abduction than the jealous girlfriend.

I was looking forward to a mystery, but actually got a romance with a little mystery on the side. So if you're looking for a suspenseful mystery, this isn't really the book for you.
