Shift By Em Bailey

ShiftShift by Em Bailey
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

"A chilling psychological thriller that tears through themes of identity, loss, and toxic friendship, Shift will leave readers guessing until the final pages"

Unfortunately, i found none of the book to be "chilling" and it didn't have me guessing until the final page.

The revelation with Ami wasn't shocking at all. It was pretty obvious from the start what was up with her. The blurb doesn't help keep it a secret, either.

Olive really annoyed me. In the first half, She had suspicions on what Miranda was, and she could see what she was doing to Katie. For those reasons, she hated her, and tried to stay away from her.

However, in the second half, she done a complete U turn. She started hanging around her, and started to enjoy her company. She viewed her as a friend, even after her brother reminded her about her suspicions, and Miranda's guardian warned her.

Overall, This was a bit of a boring read, and had some painfully obvious revelations.
