Inbetween by Tara A. Fuller
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
After being in a car crash two years ago, 17 year old Emma has gone through some very weird, and dangerous events.
The reason why is about to be found out, and answers aren't the only thing Emma will get.
She'll also get the love of her life back.. A love she never knew she had.
While Reaper and human relationships are nothing new, this one was done really well.
I loved how detailed the writing was, it really made things feel real.
Emma and Finn's romance was really sweet. He would do anything to protect her, knowing fair well that it would cause implications for him.
Emma was a pretty good character. She was always there for Cash, even though she had her own problems. She loved Finn almost as much as he loved her. She still wanted to see him more than anything, even though his discovery on her identity was the reason why Maeve was there. She also took her medication even though she knew she never needed it, to give her mother peace of mind.
Maeve was really twisted. She would do anything to kill Emma. I had a feeling that she would do what she did at the end, a few pages before it actually happened. Though, it didn't take anything away from that part, it was still really good.
I loved the ending. LOVED it.
I'll defiantly be reading book two.
