This wasn't a read I enjoyed unfortunately.
The people in this weren't awful, but I can't say that I'd be friends with them.
This started out pretty slow, and I was quite bored because of it. I hoped that it would be more enjoyable when I got further in to the road trip, but unfortunately, my feelings never changed.
Overall, Not for me.

Sorry you didn't like this one. It's on my TBR, but I kind of abandoned the challenge I was going to read it for so I haven't gotten to it yet.
