Dazzle (Delaney's Gift, #1) By Amber Garza

Dazzle (Delaney's Gift, #1)Dazzle by Amber Garza
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I really liked the novella, but this one fell a bit short for me.

The characters were alright, but i didn't really love any of them. Delaney kept going on about how she wanted to be normal, which i could understand, but it got annoying. Micah annoyed me even more though, becuase he didn't see where she was coming from at all, and kept telling her that their calling was amazing.

The pacing in this could be a bit slow at times, so it dragged. The story still kept my interest, but i felt a little bored at points because of the slowness.

Overall, an okay read.

Gideon Lee was an okay read, but it dragged in areas.

Lark wasn't an awful character, but she had annoying moments and could be quite strange, so i couldn't warm to her enough to like her. The other character were alright, but again, i didn't warm to them enough to like them.

The pacing in this was quite slow, so i felt bored at times. If a few things had moved along a bit faster then i probably would have enjoyed this book more.

Overall, Not a bad read, but i didn't love it.

Gift of Sight (Gifted, #1) By Erin Manbeck

Gift of Sight (Gifted, #1)Gift of Sight by Erin Manbeck
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Gift of Sight wasn't very enjoyable for me.

Regan wasn't a character that i could get to like. She was annoying, and she babbled on, and on, and on.
Sam was worse. He talked to Regan like she was a child, and was generally acting like an arse. He deserved to have his shoes weed in by Jackpot.

I didn't like this one from the start unfortunately. It was slow and weird, and just couldn't keep my interest.

Overall, not a great read unfortunately.

This was an okay read, but it didn't suck me in.

Maya wasn't a very bright character. She made loads of bad decisions, and at times i thought she had less sense than the child she was with!

The storlyine in this wasn't bad, but it didn't suck me in. I like zombie books to have loads of action that has me at the edge of my seat. This did have action, but it defiantly wasn't edge of your seat stuff.

Overall, Okay zombie read.

The Shadow (The Darkness Trilogy, #1)The Shadow by A.G. Porter
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Actual rating - 2.5

The Shadow felt like a really, really long read.

I couldn't get to like Rayna. She had loads of annoying moments, she babbled, and she wasn't very bright.

I found the pacing in this to be slow, and i was quite bored throughout the book. There was a few times where the story picked up and got me a little bit more interested, but those moments didn't last very long, and unfortuntely, i went back to being bored.

Overall, wasn't an enjoyable read for me.

Beautiful Bedlam (Beautiful Bedlam #1)Beautiful Bedlam by Ali Harper
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Beautiful Bedlam bored me from the start unfortunately.

Sienna wasn't an awful character, but i can't say i liked her. She had a few annoying moments, but the main problem was that i just couldn't warm to her.

The storyline in this could be very confusing at times, and the pacing was really slow. I felt like putting it down constantly, and had a hard time picking it back up when i did.

Overall, Not an enjoyable read for me.

Get Even (Don't Get Mad, #1)Get Even by Gretchen McNeil
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Get Even didn't impress me at all.

The main characters weren't good ones. They all really annoyed me most of the time.

The pacing in this was really slow, and i lost interest in the story rather quickly. When the story finally got my interest back, the ending killed it.
It felt like a waste of time reading this, because after going through most of the book feeling bored, the killer wasn't revealed!

Overall, A waste of time.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from the author, in exchange for an honest review.)

Actual rating - 3.5

The Fighter was a good read, but i didn't like it as much as Pieces of Me.

I liked Jace, but not quite as much as i did in book one. He made a few dodgy decisions where romance was concerned, which really frustrated me. He made a few other decisions that weren't exactly great either, but his heart was in the right place with those, and one of them took a lot of courage.

Just like the first book, there was a couple of things in this that i didn't expect. They happened at the right time too, as they livened things up when my interest started to waver.

Overall, A decent sequel.

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review.)

One Wish Away wasn't too bad at the start, but it quickly turned into a mess.

Lyra was an alright character at the start, but as the story progressed she really got on my nerves.
She had a look around goverment buildings, then after getting a quick telling off, told someone everything that was going on - Which she was told not to do. After that, i was hoping she would redeem herself, but she never.

This went downhill very quickly when Lyra found out what was happening to the stars. The way they tested if what they created was a success, was absoultely ridiculous.

Overall, Boring and Ridiculous.

It's defiantly a possibility for Alice.
Two guys wasn't enough for her in this book, so she got a third. By the end of book four she'll probably have enough guys to name after days of the week!

The storyline in the last book was alright, and there was loads of parts that made me laugh (Even if they weren't intended too.) but in this one, it was dull.
Everything that happened, i didn't care about. Alice annoyed me, Her love interests annoyed me more (Kai, especially.) and i was just bored.

Overall, Dull and had an annoying Love square.

This Is Your Afterlife was an okay read.

Keira and Jimmy wee both okay characters, but i didn't love them.

This started out alright, but i lost interest after a bit. The pacing was a bit too slow for me, and the storyline was so similar to other books i've read, that i felt slightly bored.

When the killer was revealed at the end, it wasn't a shock. I had my suspicions on who it was for quite a long time before it got revealed.

Overall, Alright read, but added nothing new to this type of book.

Captive was slightly better than Pawn, but it still wasn't fantastic.

Kitty really annoyed me in the last book, and by 3% i was sick of her. She was still annoying in this one, but thankfully, she wasn't quite as bad.

This just couldn't keep my interest. Whenever something happened i was still bored, and it's really not a good sign when that feeling doesn't change when someone dies.

Overall, Slight improvement, but still boring.

(I received a copy from the author, in exchange for an honest review.)

Project Firebird was a bit too slow for me unfortunately.

The characters in this were okay, but i didn't love any of them.

I knew that this wouldn't have loads of action in, since the book focused on the events before the world ended, but i expected a little bit. Unfortunately, we didn't really get that. I was hoping that there would be at least some sort of tension/suspense because of what was going to happen, but that didn't happen either. Due to that, i found it all a bit dull.

I didn't expect it to end the way it did, but it still never excited me.

Overall, not an awful read, it just wasn't for me.

Pieces of Me was a decent read.

I felt really sorry for Peyton at the start. Bullying is a horrible thing to go through, so i could understand why she felt so low. As the book progressed though, so did she. By the end of the book, she was a completely different character!

There was a few things that happened in this that i didn't expect, which was good, as it kept my interest.

I'm looking forward to reading book two, which is from Jace's point of view.

The Fool (Virtual Arcana, #0)The Fool by Karen Amanda Hooper
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review.)

I didn't enjoy this one at all unfortunately.

I didn't like Kelsey. I love Tea, but if there was a limit on how much i could have a day, and there was punishments if i didn't stick to that, i would cut down. This is why i could really not understand why Kelsey would want to risk so much for an extra cup of coffee.
Keekee was the same. Why risk so much for a game?!

This lost my interest pretty quick, and it couldn't get it back. The talk about VR games bored me, Kelsey moaning about how much coffee she could have got on my nerves, and Kelsey's talk about finding the "coffee forgetter" at the start annoyed me.

Overall, Boring.
So glad this was only short!

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Heritage was an alright read, but it wasn't as good as Bloodline

Alex was an okay character, but she wasn't as likable as she was in book one. She annoyed me a few times.

The pacing in this was quite slow, and at points it really bored me. There was just a few too many info dumps for me. I understand that they're sometimes needed, but they make me lose interest.

Overall, An okay Sci-fi.

This took a while to get going, but once it did it was quite good.

I liked Alex. She tried her best to protect her brother, and really put her all into finding a cure for the virus. Her brother and Chris were likable characters too.

It was quite slow in the beginning, and there were points where i felt slightly bored. It picked up though, and after that it turned into an enjoyable read.

I'm interested to see where the second book is heading after that ending.

Overall, An interesting Sci-fi.

Shadow Weavers: Hummingbird, was an enjoyable read.

Naomi and Jesse were both likable characters, and i really liked them together!

The storyline was pretty good, and the pacing was quick enough to keep me interested. There was enough imformation to know what was happening, but tere wasn't any info dumps which was great.

I'll defiantly be continiuing the series.

Overall, A good paranormal read.

This was another good read, and i'm glad Nathan and Preston's story got told.

I really liked Nathan and Preston together! They didn't have an easy ride, but they always got through it. Their love for one another was really nice to see.
It was good that they mentioned Didi and Caleb, (Even if those snippets weren't anything new) as they were another cute couple!

The ending to this was really good, and i had a smile on my face while reading it. I loved Didi and Caleb together, but i think i loved these together even more.

Overall, Great read.

Didi and Caleb made a great couple!
Didi made me laugh, and i liked how she wasn't afraid about letting people know what she thought. Caleb wasn't a very likable character at the start, but after a few chapters he won me over.

The ending was good, and had a few twists that i didn't expect.

Hidden started out pretty good, but i lost interest.

I felt really sorry for Tressa, as she had lost everyone/everything in her life that she loved or wanted.
I should have been happy for her when she found romance, but i didn't like it at all. I hate cheating, so Tressa sleeping with a married man wasn't a romance that i could like.

The first 30% of this was quite good, but it went downhill after that. The pacing got slower, the characters weren't as likable as they first were, and i lost interest.

Overall, Decent start, but went downhill.

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review.)

Actual rating - 2.25

Betting Blind wasn't a book that i enjoyed.

Gabe wasn't a likeable character at all. Dealing drugs - Especially to people he knows he shouldn't be dealing too, is bad enough, but he had a serious attitude problem to go with it.
Irina was an okay character, but i didn't love her. I didn't like her romance with Gabe either, and to be honest, i didn't want her to end up with him.

I'm not sure if it's just because i really disliked the main character, or if i just generally didn't enjoy the book... but i spent most of the book wanting it to end.

Overall, Not my cup of tea.

(I received a copy from Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review.)

I didn't realize that the book that was mentioned in the blurb was a real book until i started this. If i had known, i probably wouldn't have read this as the book in question wasn't a very good read.
Due to the fact that i wasn't a fan of it, the first 10% of this one really annoyed me, as it was mainly just saying how amazing the book was.

The rest of the book wasn't that great either, unfortunately.

Paige wasn't a character that i liked. She was quite dull and had plenty of annoying moments. The other characters weren't brilliant either.

With the constant "Locked is amazing" talk, the main character being annoying, and the pacing being slow, i spent the majority of the book bored, and wanting it to be over.

Overall, Boring and annoying.
It was a relief when i got to the ending.

Lola and the Boy Next Door wasn't quite as bad as Anna and the French Kiss, but it was still pretty awful.

I didn't like Lola, but she wasn't as annoying or hypocritical as Anna. I really didn't get why she had to wear costumes all the time though!
The other characters weren't great either. They could all be annoying!

I dount Isla and the Happily Ever After will be any good, as these books are all the same. Cheating, Indicisiveness, and annoying main characters.

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Anna and the French Kiss was a rubbish read.

The two main characters in this were dreadfull.
Anna was annoying, Immature and a hypocrite. You don't have a go at someone for doing something similar to what you're doing - Especially when out of the two of you, you're doing the worst!

Etienne was even worse than Anna. I spent the majority of the book hoping someone would slap him. I really don't know why anyone would want to go out with someone that goes behind their girlfriend's back and flirt with another girl.

I'm hoping Lola and the Boy Next Door will be better, but i very much doubt it.
