The Names They Gave Us by Emery Lord
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
(I received a copy from Netgalley, In exchange for an honest review.)
I felt quite sorry for Lucy in this, having a loved one battling cancer would be hard enough, but having to go through it twice would be really difficult.
This wasn't a bad read, but it didn't take long before it started to drag for me unfortunately. I was hoping it would gain my interest back later in the book, but it never happened.
Overall, Not one I loved, but an okay read.

All the Missing Girls By Megan Miranda
All the Missing Girls by Megan Miranda
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This wasn't a bad read, but I can't say it was one that gripped me. It struggled to keep my interest, and unfortunately, a lot of the book dragged slightly for me because of it.
The chapters in this went backwards, which made me feel quite confused at points. There was a few times where I really felt like just skipping to the end first to see what actually happened. Once I got there, it was quite interesting, but it felt like it took ages to get there.
Overall, An okay read, but a bit weird.

(I received a copy from Netgalley, In exchange for an honest review.)
This started out quite slow, and it took me quite a long time to properly get into it because of it unfortunately.
The second half was a lot better for me, and it managed to hold my interest quite well. As it took so long to get to that point though, I can't say it was a book that I loved, but overall, it was an okay read.

I found the start of this to be quite boring, and it took me ages to get into it. It did pick up after a while, but I still found parts of it dragging slightly. The blog post sections were the worst for me, they always irritated me.
Overall, Not an awful read, but not one I can say I really enjoyed.

The main character in this wasn't awful, but there were quite a few times where she annoyed me.

Hedda was in a really difficult situation in this, and I really sympathized with her.
There were parts in this that dragged slightly for me, but it wasn't too bad thankfully.
Overall, An okay read.

The characters in this were okay, and I felt quite sorry for them.
This wasn't a bad read, although I do have to say that I struggled to find the motivation to pick this back up. It felt like quite a long read for me too.
Overall, Not one I can say I loved, but not a bad read overall.
