The Escape By C.L. Taylor

The EscapeThe Escape by C.L. Taylor
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from Netgalley, In exchange for an honest review.)

Actual rating - 3.5

This was a decent read, which kept my interest well enough. There were one or two times where I found it dragging slightly, and it was quite predictable in places, but it was still an enjoyable read.

Overall, A decent read.

This looked like a really interesting read, but unfortunately, it wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

It wasn't bad, but it was a bit too slow in areas for my liking, so there were parts that started to drag for me. It just didn't grip me like I thought it would, and I felt slightly bored at points.

Overall, An okay read.

I didn't love the main character in this, but she was okay. I felt quite sorry for her at points.

This was an alright read, but it did struggle to keep my interest at points unfortunately. It felt like a pretty quick read, so it didn't drag at any point for me, it just didn't grip me like I hoped it would.

Overall, An okay read.

The characters in this were alright, But I didn't love them.

This wasn't an awful read, but it wasn't one that I can say I really enjoyed unfortunately. I felt quite bored from the start, and it got worse as it went on. The book dragged in areas because of it for me.

Overall, Not bad, but not one for me.

I wasn't a big fan of the characters in this, but they weren't awful.

Despite this only being short, there were parts in this that dragged slightly for me, and the book felt longer than what it was because of it.

It wasn't one that I can said I really liked, but it was an alright read overall.

(I received a copy from Netgalley, In exchange for an honest review.)

This wasn't a bad read, but it did struggle to keep my interest at times unfortunately.

I was interested in reading the letters that they all wrote, and seeing the reaction to them, but the majority of book was quite dull for me unfortunately, and it dragged slightly because of it.

Overall, Dragged slightly, but an okay read.

Actual rating - 3.5

It felt like it took me a while to get into this one, because I found the start of it to be slightly confusing. There were quite a few characters introduced at the start, and with there being so many point of views to keep track off, it was difficult to remember who was who for a while.

After the character issue, I found the book to be quite an enjoyable one, and it kept my interest throughout the rest of it.

Overall, A decent read.
