Unfolding By Jonathan Friesen

UnfoldingUnfolding by Jonathan Friesen
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from Netgalley, In exchange for an honest review.)

Actual rating - 2.5

This wasn't an awful read, but it wasn't one I enjoyed either unfortunately. It took me ages to get into it, and even then it didn't hook me. I felt bored for quite a lot of it, and because of that, it dragged.

Overall, Not awful, but not a book for me.

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from Netgalley, In exchange for an honest review.)

This was an okay read to start with, but after a while it started to lose my interest, and I felt bored for a lot of it because of it, unfortunately. It did get better towards the end, but it was a bit too late to get my interest back fully.

Overall, Okay, but struggled to keep my interest at points.

A Step Toward Falling By Cammie McGovern

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from Netgalley, In exchange for an honest review.)

I liked some of the characters in this, but it took me a while to warm to others. (Emily especially.)

This wasn't a bad read, but I can't say it was one that I really enjoyed either unfortunately. The pacing was just far too slow for me, so it made the book feel twice as long than it was.

Overall, Slow, but an okay read.

Lullaby (Ellie Jordan, Ghost Trapper #7) By J.L. Bryan

Lullaby (Ellie Jordan, Ghost Trapper #7)Lullaby by J.L. Bryan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from the author, In exchange for an honest review.)

Just like the previous books, I liked the main characters again.

This installment seemed quite slow to start with, but the pacing didn't take long to pick up thankfully. Once it did, it was just as enjoyable as the rest of the series.

Overall, Another enjoyable sequel.
