The Problem with Forever By Jennifer L. Armentrout

The Problem with ForeverThe Problem with Forever by Jennifer L. Armentrout
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from Netgalley, In exchange for an honest review.)

I felt quite sorry for Mallory and Rider, as the life they shared when they were younger was awful.

This started out quite enjoyable, but it went downhill a bit for me unfortunately. The story wasn't bad, but the pacing was so slow that it felt like the book was going to go on forever.

Overall, Slow, but an okay read.

Actual rating - 2.5

I felt sorry for Sam at the start of this, but I can't say I really liked her character.

This started out alright, but it went downhill rather fast unfortunately. I found the whole thing quite weird, and it just couldn't keep my interest, so I felt bored for the majority of it.

Overall, Not a book for me.

(I received a copy from Edelweiss, In exchange for an honest review.)

Lilianna was an okay character, but there were times where she annoyed me.

This was quite a slow read for me, and I found it dragging quite badly at points - in the first half especially. It wasn't a bad read though.

Overall, An okay read.

This wasn't a bad read, but it dragged quite a lot for me. The pacing was quite slow, and because of how it dragged, it felt like it took me forever to get through it. There was quite a few times where I felt bored because of it unfortunately.

Overall, Slow, but not bad.

The Heir (The Selection, #4) By Kiera Cass

The Heir (The Selection, #4)The Heir by Kiera Cass
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Actual rating - 4.5

The first time I read this, I thought for sure I would rate it 5 stars, but instead, I rated it 4. After I've reread it, I still can't say that I loved it as much as the original three, but I loved it in it's own right.

This time, I stopped comparing Eadlyn to America, which helped me like her a lot more. There were still parts where she annoyed me, as she could be quite bratty, but there were other times where she made me laugh.

Overall, A really enjoyable reread.

I didn't love the characters in this, but they were okay.

I found this quite difficult to follow at times, so there were a few times where I felt confused. I felt bored at points because of it too, unfortunately.

Overall, Not a bad read, but not one for me.
