Deadlocked (Sookie Stackhouse, #12) By Charlaine Harris

Deadlocked (Sookie Stackhouse, #12)Deadlocked by Charlaine Harris
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Actual rating - 3.25

The characters in this were alright, but there were times where they annoyed me.

This was another okay read in the series, which I enjoyed about the same as the last one. There was one or two times where the book dragged slightly, but it wasn't too bad.

This one dragged quite badly at the start, but after a few chapters it got better. The pacing was still slow, but I wasn't quite so bored as I was in the others.

This one is definately my favourite out of the last few.

Allie could be annoying in this, but I didn't find her quite as bad as she was in the previous few.

This wasn't an awful read, but it wasn't a great one either. I felt bored for quite a lot of it, and a few parts dragged because of it.

Overall, An okay read.

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from Netgalley, In exchange for an honest review.)

The characters in this could be very annoying at times, so I can't say I liked them.

This started out boring, so I was hoping it would get better as the story progressed. Unfortunately though, it remained that way for the rest of the book, so it dragged quite a lot for me.

Overall, Not an enjoyable read for me.

I didn't love any of the characters in this, but they were alright.

This started out okay, but after a while I lost interest unfortunately. There wasn't anything awfully wrong with it, it just couldn't hold my attention all that well.

I found this one hard to get through unfortunately. It was very confusing in areas, and I felt lost because of it.

Have to say, that these went downhill for me with every one. I loved the first one when I read it the first time, but the second one wasn't that enjoyable, and this one felt like I'd never finish it.

Overall, Worst in series for me.

I just couldn't get into this one unfortunately.

The first few chapters were pretty heavy going, and although the rest of the story wasn't quite so bad, it still slowed the story down for me, and parts dragged because of it.

Overall, not an awful read, but not one for me.

I felt really sorry for Ella in this. The way she was treated like a dog was awful.

The pacing in this was quite slow, and parts of the story were predictable, but I really enjoyed it.

This ended on a cliffhanger, and I really want to read book two now to find out what happens next!

I've put this one off for so long, because I found the first one very slow, and it dragged. This one was exactly the same unfortunately, and as it's been so long since I read book one, some of it was a bit confusing.

As it was dragging so badly, it felt like it would never end. When it finally did, I was really relieved.

Not going to bother with book three.

I felt sorry for Piper in this, she went through quite a bit before her death. I didn't love her though, as she annoyed me a few times.

This wasn't an awful read, but it was nowhere near as enjoyable as I remember book one being.

I found this one to be hard to follow unfortunately. I read book one over two years ago, so my memory of what happened was very foggy. The most confusing part of the book for me though, was that the characters names had been changed. I felt completely lost at times because of it!

To sum it up, I spent most of the time thinking this;

The characters in this were alright, and they came out with a few funny lines that made me laugh. There was a few times where they annoyed me though.

The stroyline in this was okay, but I started to feel a bit bored around halfway because of how long the book felt. It probably wouldn't have been so bad if I had been reading something else alongside it though.

Overall, An okay read.
