The Beginning of Never By O.E. Boroni

The Beginning of NeverThe Beginning of Never by O.E. Boroni
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from the author, In exchange for an honest review.)

The characters in this were okay, although I did find Lenora quite annoying at times. I didn't love the romance, but it was alright.

This started out a bit slow and it took me a while to get into it. It did get a bit better after a while, but there was still a few parts where I thought it dragged.

This ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, so I may read book two.

Overall, An okay read.

I felt really sorry for Clara in this. What she went through was awful, and to be left with scars on your face that were impossible to hide wouldn't have been very nice either.

This started out okay, although after a bit I found it be pretty slow, which made the story drag. I wasn't a fan of the romance either, which really didn't help.

Overall, Not a bad read, but not as good as I thought it would be.

(I received a copy from Netgalley, In exchange for an honest review.)

I felt quite sorry for Polarity, as being told a nude picture of you was going around the school, when you have no idea how it was taken, would be awful.

This was an okay read, but I found it a bit slow. After a bit, I started to lose interest as well, as I just wanted answers, and it felt ike it took a while to get them.

Overall, An okay read, but felt a bit longer than it was.

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from Netgalley, In exchange for an honest review.)

Actual rating - 2.5

The characters in this weren't awful, but after a bit they irritated me.

This started out okay, but it quickly went downhill for me unfortunately. It started to drag really badly, and the only saving grace about the book was that it was short.

Overall, Not awful, but I'm glad it was short.

I felt quite sorry for Nicolette throughout this, but I didn't love her character. I found most of the other characters to be either annoying or boring.

This just couldn't catch my interest unfortunately. I felt bored early on, and it got worse as the book progressed. Everything just felt really really slow, which made it drag horrendously.

Overall, Not an enjoyable read for me.

The characters in this were okay, and I felt sorry for them at points. I can't say I loved them though.

There wasn't anything awfully wrong with this, it just couldn't catch my interest unfortunately. I felt quite bored at points because of it, and it felt like a really long read.

Overall, Not awful, but not a book for me.

I did feel quite sorry for the characters in this because of the situation they were in, but I didn''t connect to any of them enough to really like them.

This wasn't a bad read, but it didn't keep my interest very well. I got bored at points, and the story just didn't suck me in.

Overall, An okay read.

I can't say I liked any of the characters in this.

This started out okay, but I got bored after a bit. I wanted to know what happened at the end, but it felt like it would take forever to get there.
When I did get to the end, I guessed a bit of what happened, but not all of it.

Overall, Not awful, but I was relieved when it was over.

The main characters in this weren't awful, but I didn't really like them.

This started out fairly boring, and it got worse as the story progressed unfortunately. I just couldn't get into it, and I was looking forward to the end before I'd even got to 20%.

Overall, Not an enjoyable read for me unfortunately.

(I received a copy from the author, In exchange for an honest review.)

I couldn't connect with the main characters, so I didn't love them, but they were alright.

This was an okay read, although it could be a bit weird at times, and there was a few points where I felt really confused.
There was a few bits in this that made me laugh - The top the dad was wearing while eating a bowl of chicken wings was funny!

Overall, An okay read.

(I received a copy from Netgalley, In exchange for an honest review.)

I didn't enjoy this one unfortunately.

It started out slightly weird, but I didnt find it too bad at first. Unfortunately though, it got even weirder as the book progressed, and it lost my interest. It also made the story hard to follow at points, so it was difficult to get into it.

Overall, Not a book for me. Glad it was only short.

I felt really sorry for Joshua. It's awful to be bullied, and it was made worse because he had noone to turn too. I didn't really like Eve at first, as she ditched her best friends to become popular, and was starting to act like Rhonda. She grew on me though, as she realized acting that way was wrong.
They made a cute couple.

This was a fairly quick story about bullying, and overall, it was an okay read.

Unbroken By Kay Causer

UnbrokenUnbroken by Kay Causer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

(I received a copy from the author, In exchange for an honest review.)

The main characters in this were both in a difficult place, and it was clear to see why their mental health was suffering.
Noah's parents weren't supportive at all, and telling them what he did didn't go down well at all.

This could be a bit slow at times, but it was an interesting read. It was one of those reads where I couldn't help but root for the main characters, as I just wanted them to find their happy ever after!
