Monument 14 was an okay read, but a lot of it dragged.
Dean wasn't very clever.
He had one "problem" that was very easy to sort out, but he didn't realize how until a child told him! He had loads more stupid moments, but the level of stupidity of that one shocked me.
The pacing was a bit too slow for me, and from around 15% - 75% nothing happened, so it really dragged.
Overall, Slow and uneventful, but not the worst apocalyptic i've read this year.
