Mary was an okay character, and I did feel sorry for her because of what she was going through, but I didn't love her character.
Her roommate Lacey really annoyed me at the start, as she was nosey and would not shut up! I could understand why she was so nosey when it came to Mary later on in the book though.
This was an interesting novella, and I'm looking forward to reading the main book.
